there seem to have something in the air... many people are having bad throats... better drink water and not sleep late.
imagine a famous fast-food place for chicken. then imagine the place not having the chicken parts for people to eat. 10 dec was at bishan. dint knw what to eat and happen to see the 2pc value meal new at where else. so decided to eat there. went to make an order and the cashier told us we had to wait 10mins so i thought they were frying the chicken. she wrote down the order on a piece of tissue paper with a red pen. ok so we had our drinks and our side orders. while waiting for the chicken, joycelyn ate her wipped potato and i had some colesaw. i went back to see how they were doing when the cashier told another customer that she has to wait 10mins cos the chickens are not here... wait a min.. the chickens' not here? so i asked her: u mean the chicken is not here or the chicken is being fried...? then she explain that the chicken parts are not here and are being cooked somewhere else. i was stunned! then i went back to discuss if joyce wanted to exchange the meal with a wrap. then i went back and negotiate with the manager and she told me to give back the sides to exchange for the cheese fries for the other meal. however when i showed her that we had already eaten the sides, she persuaded us to wait for a while more cos she somehow wont exchange the sides for the cheesy fries. i was very disappointed b4 the manager told me to sit down and she would personally deliver the chicken to us. when the chicken came, the waiters went around to give customers their chicken. some were very unhappy cos they have waited for 30mins they claimed. some said it was supposed to be fast-food but end up waiting. joycelyn was scared that we took too long for dinner break but it wasnt our doing. haha what a strange thing...
haiz another boring bday. again dint feel like it was my bday until when i was treated to a very healthy and unique lunch and dinner. haha good organic food and thanks to the cook - nick. we went around holland v after eating at thai express ( the meal and drinks were good - mee seewa with egg n chicken soup and the avacado milkshake and the pineapple with coconut icecream yum...) when he was determined to find this organic foodstuff outlet. i was very tired and bored so i was like quite uninterested. i even rested my head on the table of the bar of the shop. quite wow cos the shop is only abt 2months old and had two articles abt this place. the women with an very old husband from ireland owns a farm called dunalun and the food they sell comes from there. the helper there was also very frenly and kept laughing at subtle jokes. the woman asked me what was my age and i replied 19 and she said: ooo.. still a baby haha. hahaa very polite and she speaks the queen's english mann. the husband looks more like a grandfather - balding and all white hair and grumpy looking hahah. but they're all frenly and jocular. the lady was so nice to wish me a happy birthday, offer me a piece of stollen, advice me not to be too wild haha and a nice assumption that i was going to have a party. she even asked us to come over for coffee or tea when we can.
hahaa was had a prince's treatment... someone to cook and two persons to clean hahah the kitchen floor is now smooth and clean. dam liverpool lost.. fielding in some second team players who arent good enough. funny the only one who knew my birthday but did not wish me on my day was the one closest to me. not until i called..
